The BBC have made promises of more inclusion of disabled people and want to make their shows more diverse, with the disabled community in mind. Planning to make their shows with disability more authentic and distinctive, in the hopes of moving away from ableism and heading in the right direction.

Looking back on the year and reflecting! Happy New Year!!
In this blog post I look back on the year 2019 as the year ends. It seems a bit of my personality has leaked into the post as I wrote it, with my eccentric humour being unleashed. Well I hope it makes fun reading, with a little lightness to it.
Should disabled actors stick to playing characters with their disabilities? Or should they be given the opportunity to play characters with other disabilities that differ to their own?
